Old Burial Ground - Sydney Town Hall The land on which the Sydney Town Hall is constructed was the site of Sydney’s first cemetery which operated from 1792 to 1820. |

Prior to construction of the Town Hall which began in 1869, most of
the graves were moved to other cemeteries. Those remaining have been
progressively uncovered over the years. These pictures were taken during January 2008, on the lower ground floor of the Town Hall while an archaeological study was underway. The remains of adult and infant graves can be seen. |
| Port Macquarie Convict Bridge Remains of a wooden bridge built by convicts about 1840 at Port Macquarie. |

The bloodwood bridge foundations are
visible at low tide. The bridge was built for Major Innes to link the Port Macquarie town with his Mansion on the shore of Lake Innes. |
